Digital payments is a complex space crowded with businesses attempting to become the primary digital payments solution for consumers across the globe. Chase created Chase Pay to provide it's customers with a simple, secure and rewarding experience when paying at both point of sale and online. To create a simple and engaging experience for customers, we used design thinking methods to understand the needs of our customers and develop a digital payment mobile app concept to meet customer and business needs. We employed Lean UX and Agile methodologies to iteratively create the experience partnering closely with our product and development counterparts all along this journey.
